“Handling the Past” at the Franklin Institute

Please join PACA on Wednesday, 24 September from 6:00- 8:00 PM for our fall kickoff event, ”Handling the Past”, hosted by the Franklin Institute (222 North 20th Street). The event is FREE for PACA members and $8 for non-members, and $5 for student non-members.

“Handling the Past” will focus on demanding storage and use issues for objects in the Franklin collection. The tour will be led by John Alviti, Senior Curator at the Franklin Institute, and Susannah Carroll, Curatorial Coordinator at the Franklin Institute.

We will meet on the ground floor of Laureate’s Hall at 6:00 PM for a reception. Following the reception, we will join Franklin curatorial staff for a tour of the Franklin collection, and end the tour with a group discussion.

Schedule:

6:00 – 6:30 PM – Reception

6:30 – 7:30 PM – Tour of Franklin collection

7:30 – 8:00 PM – Group discussion

Parking is available at the on site parking garage at 271 North 21st Street.
